人类学

Congratulations to our 2021/2022 graduates! This is our largest graduating class yet, and this group of graduates will go on to do some awesome things. We can't wait to see where 人类学 takes them!

Welcome to The 人类学 Department

人类学 explores the multiple dimensions of the human experience through the formal study of archaeology, 生物学, 文化, 和语言, and applies this knowledge to critical issues facing humans in contemporary societies. What distinguishes anthropology from other disciplines concerned with people is its holistic perspective of the human condition and its central concern with the concept of 文化.

The 人类学 Department at 基督教社会联盟DH offers a major and minor in the discipline. Our faculty are internationally known teacher-scholars, dedicated to providing our students with rigorous, hands-on training in the subfields of archaeology, cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology, biological anthropology, and applied anthropology. Majors may choose between the General 人类学, Biological 人类学, Applied 人类学 and  Archaeology concentrations.

We designed our innovative program to prepare students for post-baccalaureate success. 基督教社会联盟DH anthropology majors are among the top students on this campus and many have been accepted into advanced degree programs at prestigious universities or have entered rewarding, high-paying careers. At 基督教社会联盟DH we offer small classes, personal contact with professors, and more re搜索 and scholarly opportunities for undergraduates than any other university in southern California.
